Veteran's Day; Senate Passes Funding Bill

U.S. stock futures are slightly lower in premarket trading after a broad-based rally on Monday.

Equities rallied yesterday, led by tech, as traders piled into risk-on assets on optimism of an end to the government shutdown.

The Senate on Monday night passed a bill to fund the federal government through January and end the longest shutdown in U.S. history.

The bill, which passed 60-40 with support from a handful of Democratic senators and nearly all Republicans, will be sent to the House of Representatives. If it passes the House, the bill will head to President Donald Trump to be signed into law.

With little economic data due today, investor focus will remain on the end of the government shutdown along with earnings this week.
