Morning Watchlist: E.U. 50% Tariffs Delayed to July 9

Stocks are on the move to the upside as a holiday-shortened trading week dawns, with S&P 500 futures up almost 1.5% and its peer indices showing similar strength on word that President Trump delayed 50% tariffs on the European Union until July 9. Tech stocks are up in early trading, with SMCI, AMD, PLTR, ANET, and DELL leading the way as the biggest premarket gainers. Meanwhile, PDD Holdings, the owner of Temu, is down about -17% after missing earnings.

There is much economic data for traders to consider today, with Durable Goods, Case-Shiller Home Price Index, FHFA House Price Index, Consumer Confidence and the Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey all on the docket. Fed presidents Neel Kashkari and John Williams also are slated to speak today.
