Morning Watchlist: DG Jumps After Earnings, OECD Cuts Growth Forecast

Markets are slightly lower heading into Tuesday, with the small-cap Russell 2000 as the lone green name among the major equity index futures after the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development cut its 2025 global growth forecast to 2.9% from 3.1%. The OECD cited President Trump’s tariffs and trade policies as impacting confidence and potentially threatening greater inflationary pressures.
Some retail stocks are on the move after posting earnings, including DG, OLLI, and SIG. Meanwhile, traders have quarterly results from CRWD and HPE after the close, and more discount retail with DLTR tomorrow morning. Finally, today’s economic data includes Motor Vehicle Sales, Factory Orders, and JOLTS.
