U.S. stock futures are slightly lower and far above overnight lows in premarket trading as traders braced for a big week, with key earnings reports and the Fed meeting.

Wall Street is coming off a losing week, after increasing geopolitical tensions unnerved investors. Concerns eased toward the end of the week, with President Donald Trump announcing that a “framework” for a deal regarding Greenland had been reached.

Nearly 20% of the S&P 500 companies are set to post quarterly reports this week, including Apple (AAPL), Meta Platforms (META), Tesla (TSLA), and Microsoft (MSFT). So far, the earnings season has been strong, with 76% of the companies that have reported beating expectations, per FactSet.

The central bank is set to announce its first policy decision of the year on Wednesday with expectations of no change to monetary policy.

• Oil (/CL) – Oil prices are relatively flat near $61 a barrel after climbing more than 2% in Friday’s ‍session, as output disruptions in ‍major U.S. crude-producing ‍regions and tensions between the U.S. and Iran boosted prices.

• Gold (/GC) – Gold ⁠futures are up over 2% near $5090 and extended their record-setting rally to surge past $5,100 overnight as central banks and investors sought refuge from geopolitical ‍risks and Trump-induced market volatility.

• Bitcoin (/BTC) – The Crypto Future is down 1.8% under 88,000 in premarket trading.

• VIX – The CBOE Volatility Index was up 2.9% on Friday and settled at 16.09 as stocks were mixed.

• U.S. Dollar (/DX) – The dollar is down 0.4% to 97.0.

• Rothschild & Co. Redburn upgrades Meta Platforms (META) to Buy from Neutral

• Phillip Securities upgrades Netflix (NFLX) to Accumulate from Sell

• Evercore ISI upgrades Cisco (CSCO) to Outperform from In Line

• Wolfe Research downgrades Public Storage (PSA) to Peer Perform from Outperform
