U.S. stock futures are relatively flat ahead of the Wall Street open as investors parse through more earnings and await more inflation data.

June’s producer price index report is due this morning with economists expecting a 0.2% increase for headline and core month-over-month for PPI but a slight drop in year-over-year. This comes after CPI data showed a slight year-over-year rise to 2.7% on headline and 2.9% on the core.

Tech is under slight pressure today after ASML warned of the possibility of no growth in 2026, even as it beat top and bottom line expectations for the second quarter.

• Oil (/CL) – Oil prices are down 1% and below $66 a barrel as signs of stronger Chinese crude consumption were outweighed by investor caution about the wider economic impact from U.S. tariffs.

• Gold (/GC) – Gold prices are up 0.2% near $3345 on a softer dollar, while investors awaited more clarity on trade talks between the U.S. and its trading partners, with another inflation print due that could give further guidance on U.S. Federal Reserve’s policy outlook.

• Bitcoin (/BTC) – The Crypto Future is up 2% near 119K in the premarket. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that a group of House Republicans who blocked several cryptocurrency regulation bills from moving forward earlier in the day had changed their minds following a White House meeting, and would now vote to advance the legislation.

• VIX – The CBOE Volatility Index rose 1% on Tuesday and settled at 17.38 as stocks fell throughout the day.

• U.S. Dollar (/DX) – The dollar is flat at 98.3.

• Mizuho upgrades Palantir (PLTR) to Neutral from Underperform

• BofA upgrades Rockwell Automation (ROK) to Buy from Neutral

• JPMorgan upgrades GDS Holdings (GDS) to Overweight from Neutral

• Capital One downgrades Atlassian (TEAM) to Equal Weight from Overweight

• Citi downgrades Phillips 66 (PSX) & Valero (VLO) to Neutral from Buy

• BofA downgrades Centene (CNC) to Underperform from Neutral
